We then release all the work we do back to the community. All LTS vendors are mandated to publish any backported security patches freely available to the public. So we’re able to take advantage of that for our clients as well.
Yes, PHP 7 will eventually be EOL'd and between us and all the other LTS vendors, we'll be updating Drupal 7 and all it's contrib to work with PHP 8 and beyond. The work of the vendors will be made public (as a requirement of the program).
